Every space is enhanced with proper lighting. As decorative as they are functional, a lamp can be the finishing touch or be the focal point of your rooms’ décor. Lamps come in a wide variety styles and sizes.

Cast away those dark corners!! A lamp will create coziness instantly and every room should have at least one in residence — another ‘must have’ decorating element. Great for buffets, sofa tables, end tables and the all important night stand. But equally important, are floor lamps for corners and reading. Small lamps add a cozy touch in bookshelves, kitchen counters, laundry rooms, even bathrooms.

When choosing a lamp, always take in to consideration the shade color, especially if it is needed for reading. While often elegant when used for decorative purposes, a colored shade will dim the light that the lamp will cast. And, if you really like a lamp don’t be afraid to buy a different shade that will better suit your purposes. Shades are relatively inexpensive.
